The CI in Bastrop is where we stayed the first year we went to ROT....at least we stayed the first night there...the rest of the trip was booked at the Doubletree...but we got excited and left a day early so we had to stay in Bastrop.
It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Its right behind a store which was convenient and there's a Sonic on down the road towards Austin.

Booking a room through the ROT site has turned out to be a bad experience for me and I will never use it again. I just got word from work that I have to fly out to Seattle for two weeks and cant make it to ROT. Looking into the email from ROT Rally Reservation, there is a 30 day cancellation period. This is way off from the standard 72-hour cancellation period all other hotel reservations use. IMHO, it is a worthless as 99% of the time you need to cancel is within the last 7 days. |

Bummer! So sorry you won't get to make the rally. Where is your room booked? Its possible that you might find someone to take it off your hands.
I have gotten stuck on the extended cancellation times when I've booked at discounted rates too. Hopefully you can find someone to use them. Why don't you list them online? You may just find a taker!!

Looks like I will not be able to make Friday night and I have a room at the Omni Downtown for Friday ONLY.......
Hey girl, my bud Mitchell has a room that they are not going to use, can you get the word out??
If you or anybody you might know is looking for a room, please let me know ASAP before I cancel it. I think they are sold out, but if somebody wants to take it, I will wait till you are ready to book it before I cancel it......
Including tax it is $196.00.... it is a king room but you may be able to switch to 2 beds if needed, not sure......
Still may be able to ride some on Saturday, will keep you posted !!!

I just talked to a friend of mine here in Bastrop that runs the Pecan Street B&B, she said that she has several rooms available for the week & weekend and they are Biker friendly!

we got doubletree suite 2 rooms for 170 . 1 room has 2 queen beds and 42' flat screen. the other is living room and full kitchen with 2 pull out couches and big ass tv. vallet room service all that. sometimes cheaper to get nice place and share.
